Uttarakhand Government Revitalizes Char Dham Yatra: Year-Round Access Now Available for Pilgrims
A game-changing decision
Uttarakhand is home to some of the most revered pilgrimage destinations in India, including the Char Dham Yatra that encompasses Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. These sacred sites attract millions of pilgrims each year. In a major move, the Uttarakhand government has decided to extend the Char Dham pilgrimage from its traditional six-month period to a full year. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami made this announcement on Wednesday, marking a milestone for the state’s religious tourism as the pilgrimage will now be available throughout the entire year.
